Rome from inside an Italian icon — a private tour for two in an original vintage Fiat 500, with the roof open.

An original Fiat 500, the canvas roof rolled back, and the two of you moving through the lanes at the speed the city was built for. It is the most photographed thing we do, and the only tour where the car is as much the point as the route.

The route

Stop 01The Trevi Fountain

The classic first stop, and the one that produces the photograph you will actually print.

Stop 02Piazza di Spagna

Up to the terrace by road, with the 500 parked where the picture works.

Stop 03The Pantheon

Through the lanes around it at the pace a car this size was designed for.

Stop 04Piazza del Popolo

The obelisk, the twin churches, and the way out towards the Pincio.

The order of the stops changes with traffic, events and the light. Your driver always takes the best route of that particular hour, and you can ask to stop anywhere along the way.

How many people can come?

Two guests, plus the driver. The car is an original 500 and that is genuinely all it seats.

Is it a real vintage car?

Yes, an original Fiat 500, maintained and insured for this use. It is not a replica and not a modern car dressed up.

Can we choose the route?

Yes. There is a proposed route, and you can change it. The price is fixed either way.

Does the roof open?

Yes, the canvas roof rolls back, which is most of the reason to book it. If it rains we close it, or we move the tour.

Can we use it for a proposal?

Very often it is exactly that. Tell us in advance and we will arrange the timing, the stop and where the car waits.

Is luggage possible?

A 500 has almost no boot. If you need luggage carried, the golf cart tours or the van are the right choice instead.
